yeah i decided now is the time to get stuck in, i'll get the tins up to AJ to lay down some heavy metal flake. I'll re do the wiring, and give it a good clean, change the bars too.

Yeah nice one Jon.

Plan from here is to strip the frame of the hard plastic coating thats all over it and powder coat it gloss black, i will put a proper seat hinge mount rather than the universal clamp on one. AJ is going to paint my tank and fender a cross between gold/rootbeer/orangy/reddy metal flake. i think im going to run all the wires thru the frame too. that should keep me going for a few weeks

Don't paint it until you are damm sure everthing you want is welded on there,seen people paint things and then go oh shit I should have a welded a tab for that

yeah definately, seat mount etc, good thing it was together when i got it, kind of been mocked up already then. going to change the tank mounts too

One of the local powder coaters, we got 2 in palmy so i will make them fight for it. im thinking gloss black with clear over it, try and hide some of the imperfections on the frame.
