| I think lifting the seat up a bit on the springs gives you that nice space before the rear guard that helps it look different. Looking good. | |

| Indicators on. Plan is to put fender struts on tommorow & finish wiring. also got some new sidecovers from hongkong that will need some wangle dangling to fit ( the left one was missing). | |

| why do the sidecovers i got from hongkong say 'ZHONGSHIN' inside them, whereas the old cover said Honda or suchlike. They look identical, that's all that matters. and they came in black, which was handy. wired up now. brackets in place for mounting fender. planning to bolt on fender tommorow (letting the lacquer harden). | |

| Nice one Brett. That is a real example of how you can create something cool at a reasonable cost and in a short time. Wish I could finish mine that quick. I'm interested to see how quickly it sells. | |

| Definite improvement. I recognise a lot of those bikes from the Sportster thread on the Jockey Journal. I like Sportsters. Sara was at the shop today and there was a fat guy on a new Nightster. He couldn't find the side stand but he was still acting the hard man. He said to Sara, "What are you looking at". "The girls bike" she said and walked off. He was too fat and slow to get off the bike and chase her. Classic. | |
